  1. well, i am a club player, but it would help if I knew your age. I am 12 and is also an outside hitter and backrow, i also serve. I go to a strength training class, go outside evry day and just practice bumping, setting, spiking, and serving. Maybe go to a YMCA and practice if the outside of your house does not work for you. I also play sand volleyball- that really helps because it is harder in sand than on court.

Just evryday training I would do push ups and pull ups. Good Luck :)

  2. Try doing your workouts in a different way.  I suggest people work out in the pool.  You can work on your approach and your jump.  It provides great resistance and great cushion for when you land.  And it is a different workout than you are used to.  You will be still working out, but it will not be the same old workout.  Try to some of your other workouts differently.  Instead of running around the gym, run around the park.

  3. Plenty of rest and eat right. Don't play so much that you're bore of the game.

I play for 25 year and see no challenge these days.
