  1. I think you can make a challenge to yourself by setting a timer and when the timer goes off see how fast you can get the house back in order. Another thing, if you are tired of cleaning your sister's mess you can box it up and show your parents the mess you have to clean up after dishes and all. Unless you are getting paid then you have to suck it up.

  2. Clean a little as you go so you don't have to spend hours on huge tasks. I give you credit for helping your parents out. I'm married to a slob and have twin 5 year olds, so when you get done with your housework, come help my with mine. ;) lol

  3. well thats really nice of you to help more kids should be like you but i agree do a little bit at a time and dont use expenisive cleaners full of chemicals i use a spray bottle with half ammonia and half water it smells strong but it gets the job done good luck keep up the good work

  4. You are so awesome to help out cleaning. I am a fifteen year old girl too and I am trying to do the same thing. I have asked a question on Yahoo Answers and people have told me to do the following things. Here is some advice:

    Every day:

    - make the beds

    - pick up after yourselves normally

    - wash/dry/put away the dishes'

    - clean off the table after making a mess

    - clean up your bedroom after you get stuff laying around there

    Once a week:

    - clean the bathrooms (windex on mirrors, clean the walls and floor, clean the shower walls/bath, straighten up the towels)

    - clean the kitchen (mop the floor, wipe down the counters)

    - sweep the house (anywhere that is dusty)

    - vaccuum rugs (area rugs and whole room rugs)

    Once every two weeks:

    - wash the bathroom towels

    - wash sheets, pillowcases, comforter cases, etc.

    As needed:

    - wash laundry

About your sisters, try to be nice to them and get them to help you. You can make it easy and painless by giving them each a teeny job to do, like dusting a tabletop. Then they will feel good about helping you, and maybe your dad and mom could even get all excited about it and show them. They will feel really special.

I hope these suggestions help! I think it's really cool for us teen girls to try to help out our parents because they are really busy and they do a lot for us so this is like a way to just help them out a little! Don't overdo it, just do as much as you can sanely with still keeping up school and other stuff! Good luck!
