  1. 1. Remember to go over where everything on the instrument panel is, like the lights and hazard signal etc. They always ask you to turn these things on to make sure everything is working and you know where they are.

    2. When you start always keep the radio off and remember your seat-belt, both hands on wheel at all times, unless you are driving a stick shift.

    3. Watch your speed. Be aware of the speed in the area you are traveling. I failed my test the first time because I was going down a hill and I went 5 miles over the speed limit (my foot wasn't even on the gas).

    4. Know how to parallel park.

    5. Always come to a complete stop at all lights and stop signs. Rolling stops are bad.

    6. Always check your blind-spots and turn right around and look out your back windows when parking. They will dock you points if you only check your mirrors.

Stay calm, relax, try and get a good night's sleep, review your instruction manual, have a good breakfast and you'll do great! Good luck!

  2. The nerves go and it becomes easier as time passes by which passes by quick. Just picture yourself passing it and reassure yourself by saying I will pass this test. What I like to do in situations like this is not even think of it and just do it. Most of the times it is presentations and I don't think of it much and just do it when the day comes.

  3. knowing the material helps.
