How do you keep your running interesting?

and does anyone else ever feel anxious or afraid before a race, knowing that you're going to be in a lot a pain by the end of the race!

  1. i think the fact that we're constantly improving is very interesting. each week there's new times to compare to old ones, we constantly strive to get better.

    i am always anxious before a race, but it's a nervous good. even knowing that i'm going to be in a lot of pain, the feeling that you get when you finish, nothing compares.

    but to answer your question on how to keep it interesting, i go on runs in different places, change up my courses, it's fun exploring. run with friends also, friends who are slightly better than you so they can push you.

  2. well...wat makes running so fun for me is knowing what time i'll get and trying to improve every chance i get and knowing the best  techniques for running like how to breathe, how to take ur steps, ect. Everything is interesting for me. Like probably on a hot day and ur track coach wants u to run 1 or 2 miles that day, ur probably lik, "God, i don't want to run in this heat," but u feel so good after u run. U get better and better each week, its amazing
