In what ways can I fix my galvanic shock ?

( which is my 2 metal fillings/1 on the top - and 1 on the bottom touching each other - causing a pain worse than a cavity at times )

I feel like I should of never gotten the filling, just the root canal would of done fine.

If I left the hole in my tooth, the most that would of happened is my tooth would have eventually fell out.

The d**n denist put a metal filling, near another metal filling.

I feel like suing his stupid a-s-s, he filed it down once.

If I keep getting this pain, he's going to have to pull it, because a shock between 2 metal fillings isn't worth it.

  1. Having 2 amalgam fillings opposing each other should not cause a Galvanic Reaction. You only get that with two dissimilar materials, such as a gold restoration and an amalgam filling. I would have another dentist take a look at the teeth. Good luck.

  2. It should go away soon.....it just needs to tarnish a bit....you could help it along by putting a little vinegar on it....use a q-tip...or have some vinegar salad dressing....
