How do you know a guy is ABOUT to propose?

What I mean is...like when he is right ABOUT to do it. Do you think he acts nervous? Or weird? what are some things to look for?

He goes down on one knee and opens a ring case. Only way to be 100% positive, unless you already decided to get married and that he would "officially" propose on that day/night. Just relax, it's kind of scary you're so eager you're asking strangers for clues on how your man will act.

1) Acting differently as in nervous.

2) Quiet

3) Very attentive to your needs

4) Asks you how much you love him.

5) tells you he wants to spend the rest of his life with you

6) goes out and buys a ring

7) Pops the question.

Just be careful, a couple of these could mean he is about to break up too. :-)

When he gets down on one knee with a ring in his hand.

It usually means something like that.

it varies with most guys but, most of them that i know of are secretive over certain things, disappearing (going to get the ring) and some act romantic.
