I mean really.. how do you know? You cant use the bible... the bible was written by man, no one can know for absolute certainty whether "god" spoke those words.

No one has died and come back to life to tell us that god is real. so how do you know? you seem to be so sure, without any reasonable doubt that he is infact real and exists..

would it be that terrible to you yo realize that maybe..just maybe.. he isnt real?

  1. The planet and the whole universe in which we live bear all the properties necessary for our lives. Someone who thinks about this will see clearly that Allah created the whole universe for us

Man, for example, can breathe effortlessly all the time. The air he inhales neither burns his nasal passages nor makes him dizzy nor causes headaches. The proportion of the gases in air is designed with the amounts that are most suitable for the human body.

If the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere were a little more or a little less than at present, in both cases life would vanish. He then remembers what a hard time he has in breathing in airless places. As a believing person continues to think on this subject, he constantly gives thanks to his Lord.

  2. why is it that people can talk absolute c**p, but if it's in the name of religion, we don't point out how crazy it is.

like "i speak to Him nightly, and i accept Him into my heart. He died for my sins and I will see Him in heaven".

    that's crazy talk.

  3. How do you know that your spouse isn't cheating on you?

    It's called faith & trust.

How do we know that the atom is real? We can't see it, or feel it, or touch it. But we know that it's real.

Jesus once said something like, "Imagine those who have never seen me yet they believe".

Why is it so important for atheist to try to take God away from us? Is it physically hurting you that we believe in Him?

Do you really believe that we came from monkeys? Then why are there still monkeys?

I believe in God because He is in my heart and in my life. I've taken many of my problems to Him and He's solved them. One very important problem very recently.

He's real because I've been in His presence through prayer. I felt His hand on my heart the night I confessed my sins to him and asked for His forgiveness. He's with me now as I'm typing this. He's with me every time I need Him. Every time I'm afraid He's with me and He takes my fears away.

So you and all of your little atheist friends can keep on trying to convince us that God doesn't exist.  Because we know that he does. We know that we aren't going to die. We're simply going to leave these tired old bodies behind.

But you, if you don't get it together, He's going to say to you, "Turn away from me, for I know you not".

Oh, and you're saying that we "can't use the Bible because it was written by man". You're wrong. The Bible is the Word of God. It doesn't matter that you don't believe it. What matters is that I believe it.

    God Bless you,

    -V

  4. I have had disturbing dreams that have come to pass.

2000= I saw devastation threw the eyes of a working woman who actually witnessed it. Pres. Clinton was in office. and he knew what was coming. This happened in 2001.

2006= I dreamed of this massive and mighty war plane, and many countries involved. This plane was undetectable it blended in with its surroundings. It was prepared for destruction. It was believed to be indestructible.

2007= Shortly after the 2006 dream, I dreamed a dream I can't fully remember the visual part. I do remember the warning. It was a political concern. In this dream I was pleading and debating the safety and protection of many. I remember as I was awaking, I asked GOD how will I know this new (young unknown) to rise up. As soon as I asked I heard, The old one (not in age) will return to the public view and this man's name.

2007= The man whose name I heard spoken to me (within a few months or weeks) did come back into the public view strongly and as active as if he had never been away for a long time out of the public eye.

Shortly after a new political figure, who is young and unknown did rise up and many are giving him undo praise and worship. He speaks words that are false, yet many are convinced of him and are misled.

I tell you GOD IS REAL.

  5. People have died and come back ("Life After Life" by Raymond Moody, Tibeten Book of Living and Dying")

But seriously, I believe I exist.   Science teaches us that energy never dissipates, it just changes form.  The conscious mind (not brain) is non-physical energy.  I believe something happens to that energy when we die.

We were created.  Whether your name for that creator is "Allah", "God", "Universe", or "All That Is" doesn't mean a whole lot, those are just words.  Since the universe which created consciousness is a universe in which consciousness dwells, it's unlikely that animals on this planet are the only expression of that consciousness, or that it was created from a universe that doesn't also posses it.  We are part of this universe, not separate from it.  This doesn't mean we know what this creator is like, but we (humans, consciousness) are already part of it.

-Oh, and personal experiences, but those are subjective.

Is it easier to not believe, than to believe?  J. Krishnamurti, an eastern philosopher has said: "The greatest mystery is that there is a "you", to be aware, of their being a you".  It is good to question, believers, and non.  The God I know will always love her children, and would never blame you, tell you to "turn away", or cease to "know you" because of your doubts.  God knows what's in your heart and mind.  It is God who made you.  Thomas Jefferson said it like this: "Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear."

So I pose a question to the questioner.  Do you believe there is no "God", or do you disdain blind faith in a God we can't prove the existence of?

  6. Seeing Is Believing!!!

  7. for many years i have thought about that same question... until i let the lord in to my heart... seen' is not believing... you can not see the air but you can feel it... for me i can feel god.. i  can say i feel the differences  from when i was not sure to now that i am sure...

  8. faith in written word I guess

  9. Thanks for your list of rules on what cannot be used, but I wouldn't know Him if I wasn't baptized by Him. And I was baptized by Him.

He either wants you or He doesn't. It's a plain as that. If you want to know Him, then He is leading you to Christ. If He doesn't want you, then you wont want to know Him.

  10. Jesus rose from the dead so I asked him to show me that God exists. One day he showed me that he came from God and the bible could not be written unless God is real. No one could declare the end would happen a particular way and by particular events thousands of years in advance unless someone actually knew exactly what would take place. No other book predicts the future in such detail that the bible goes into.

  11. I had him over for dinner once and told him to do some tricks for me but he wouldn't...he just ate and then left..was it god or just a guy ...can't remember .....you know the rubber duck thing and all....

  12. Let 'em waste their Sundays....... Who cares?

  13. That's the age old question now isn't it??? You and I think alot alike. I believe Jesus walked this earth, who he really was is quite the mystery to me. He could've been just a guy declaring himself as Christ, similar to David Koresh or even Charlie Manson. The true definition you must realize is that the word "Faith"  governs the entire religious world. Because nothing can be proven any minister will tell you that you simply must have faith. Maybe they are right, I don't know. I've read the bible and truly hope it is real and accurate. I hate to imagine we die and that's all there is to it. Try watching a preacher on TV named Joel Osteen, though I'm not real religious he does lidt me up and gives me hope. Here is how I live my life- If I live a clean life and treat others well and there is no God or after life at least I was worthy to myself and others while I was here. If I am mean, cruel and hurtful while I'm here on earth I'll leave nothing more than pain and bad memories of me for others. Hope you find what you looking for but remember to be good never hurt anyone!!! Best of luck.

  14. I know because, when I asked Jesus for forgiveness and told him I will follow where he leads, He embraced me like an old friend and God's Love flowed from him into me.

"I know because I was there when it happened" Johnny Cash

  15. They all KNOW it, especially the hardcore preachy types. They work really hard to convince themselves it's real.

I guess that sounded pretty ignorant. Most of them have doubts, but don't go into the doubt any deeper than that.

  16. It would be "THAT TERRIBLE" sorry.

I know because of fulfilled prophecy, not just cuz the Bible says it's the word of God, it proves it's the word of God with over 75% of it's prophecies having been fulfilled.

Here's some prophecy on the brink of being fulfilled now:

heaven is where you make it

he dosent exist so i belive

    he exists because i belive
