  1. i have a little cat and he always purrs and rubs against me .... and he sleeps with me, licks my face, purrs when i pet him and follows me everywhere around the house !!!

  2. In addition to purring, some other signs of affection are rubbing against your leg head first, allowing you to rub her belly, kneading you with her paws and l*****g you.

Purring is just a sign of comfort and happiness.

  3. Cat Laws:

The allow you to lay on the bed; even if they are first....sometimes (know that they WILL extend themselves to take up as much of the bed as possible)

The will permit you to feed them on THEIR schedule

They attack visitors; especially if they try to pet them

They will swipe at you when you least expect it....and often

They completely ignore you, they will only seek your attention if it is in THEIR interest or it benefits them in some way

They do these things because they love us.

These are the only things you can count on being a cat owner.  I would dread knowing how they would treat me if they did not like me.

Cats are the only animals that kill for fun.  Truth be told, the anatomy of a cat is truly a killing machine and they will always hone their killing/hunting skills; on you or an unlucky rodent that happens by.  They do this for survival for they are much like the big cats.  This why they seemingly trun on you when you believe them to be playing; they are really practicing for the hunt, the kill.  This is the truth, trust...

  4. I assume a cat likes you if it goes over to you a lot for attention.  Or at least more so than other people.

  5. I've got a cat that operates like a puppy dog. I open the door when I come home from work---cat is there to great me. Cat always walks along side me, as if it were a well-trained dog on a leash. Cat demands constant attention from me. Cat is not interested in dealing with anyone else in the house unless I'm gone. I alone, can furminate and brush the cat.

I was forced to adopt the cat 2 months ago, don't really care about owning pets, but now I'm the cat's indentured slave. Cats are very strange creatures, and I suppose they express their desire for you in different ways; all of which are demands over which you are allowed only minimal control.

Short answer: you'll know if they like you by the number of demands they impose upon you.

  6. Here are some signs that a cat likes you:

-purrs every time you pet her

    -rubs against your leg occasionally

-attacks your let when you walk by

-rubs against your hand when you hand it 2 her

    -or l**k your hand

-if you pet her a lot and she randomly bites your hand and doesn't let go (love bite)

    -meows for attention

  7. If a cat seeks your company (other than for food) it likes you.  All the other stuff is what a cat DOES (sometimes all or nothing).
