Question:

How do you know if a dog is blind???

How do vets technically tell that a dog is blind? No, I don't mean "You put a cat in front of it and see if it reacts.", I'm not stupid people. Thanks for the help.

  1. Simply put a shoe in front of him and then tell him,. u can easily guess, but remember blinding a dog is not a rapid response, it means after a long period it happen. Overall I hope your dog will be OK ;)


  2. If the dogs eye is blue.

  3. Usually, the pupils don't react to light.  You can almost stick your finger in their eye and they don't react.  They don't respond to movement.  We have a Schnauzer that is almost completely blind.  He can still see some shadow.  He is getting old, 11, and has cataracts.

  4. SHINE A BRIGHT LIGHT IN THE EYE, AND SEE IT THE PUPIL GETS SMALLER.
