How do you know if a surf report is good or not?

i get surf reports to my phone every morning and i really don't know how to tell if they're good or not

  1. i just look out my window


  2. go to the ocean and verify the accuracy of the report.  or go to surfline.com and see if the have a wave cam for your spot
