How do you know if its the real tea tree oil?

how much does tea tree oil usually cost? ii heard that it was around $10 for a small bottle but i've also seen some that cost $3-5.. and some of them dont look like its the real thing.. how can you tell if its the real one and not a fake one?

yeah, the smell.  also check for the potency % on the label.  check the ingredient label for other added ingredients like other oils, water.

Tea tree oil isnt that expensive.. IT just depends on the brand.

Hello there,

The way you know if the tea tree oil is ''the real stuff''  is by where you purchase it.   I only buy mine at a health food store.   There the products are genuine and pure and if you have any doubts,  the very helpful sales lady can provide you with all of the information you need.

Tea tree oil is very pungent - strong odor - and a bit thick.   Some name brands are more expensive than others,  but if you buy it at the health food store - as opposed to the local drug store - you will be assured of getting the genuine product for a fair price.
