How do you know if some guys the one?

You just know.

I know that sounds lame and cliche but you will know. It hits you like a ton of bricks. You don't even question it.

So I guess, when you don't question it, you know.

Nobody can tell you if someone is "the one".  I finally found THE ONE; my soul mate and just my everything and I know how I knew that about him.  But at the same time, I also would never have to ask someone else's opinion on if he was the one.  He is and I never wondered it once.

You don't say how old you are but you sound like you might be young.  When you're young, almost every guy you are in a relationship with feels like "the one".  They're good looking, they're fun, they stir you physically, etc.

As you grow and experience more of life, it will be things very different from that which tell you when you have met the right person....

* there is excellent communication between you

* you share the same interests, religious beliefs, goals for your life

* you have learned the true and real difference between s*x and making love

* there is complete trust and honesty between you......no secrets

* you both either want or don't want children and share the same philosophy about raising children

* you both believe and agree that as much as you love each other and enjoy your time together that everyone should have some time on their own to follow their own interests

*when there are no major issues in the relationship like drugs, alcohol, gambling, etc which will present problems in the relationship down the road

* when you accept the person for who they are and don't spent time trying to figure out how to change them into what you want them to be

* when he loves and you as much without your makeup on, dressed to the nines, hair done, etc as he does when you're dolled up for a night on the town or.......when you love him inspite of the fact he hasn't shaved for 2 days, is more comfy in his boxer shorts with a hole in them rather than the Calvin Klein boxers you recently bought him

* when you realize that you don't have to always agree.....when you can agree to disagree

* when you know how to fight and argue fairly (cuz you do still do that when you find "the one" --- and not throw up past incidents into every current problem.

........and that's just a start!!
