  1. You may not find out.  However, ignore it.  If they are friends, they were never friends to begin with.

Sometimes a person does have a suspicion that someone is talking about them.  This may be caused by knowledge that this person already has with the people doing the talking.

There wil be hurt feelings and doubts created in your mind but don't let these ruin your life.  After all, people who dig  ditches will fall into them. (This bit of wisdom is in the Bible.)

God bless you.  Say a little prayer.  Go with the grace of God.

  2. It doesn't matter.

Gossip/slander/babbling/snitching is one of the worst things people get drawn into, yet can be one of the most emotionally crippling. If you value yourself, don't get caught up in what others think or say of you. I agree with dmdoroh. Pray and go with the Grace of God.

  3. Sometimes you just don't know. Sometimes it's a gut feeling and sometimes you can tell by "body language". Sometimes someone tells you that someone is talking about you. That doesn't mean it's true though. I had someone accuse me of doing that to a former friend. Guess what? The accuser was the one who was talking about the former friend. Guess who the former friend believed? The accuser! So, the best thing is to go with the flow. Don't worry about what you cannot control. In time, you will know who is real and who is not. And you will be wiser for the experience. Good luck.
