I am around that time of the month but i've had alot of early pregnancy symptoms and i don't know what the difference is between the two. I've been cramping on and off for around 3 days and i haven't started my period yet, and today i noticed light pink blood, but it's not heavy and it's not on the pad just on the toilet paper...so what could this mean...maybe i am just worrying too much.... so if someone could help me it'd be greatly appreciated!!!

  1. It could be implantation bleeding. I never experienced it but have heard lots about it. You can test if you are still concerned that you may be pregnant. If spotting stops all together and no period comes, then yes definitely test!

  2. i had periods all the way through-some women just do. implantation bleeding only happens up to 14 weeks so if you are past this point then i's go see the doc just in case. they say only if it's red or there's lots of it then you should worry. sounds pretty OK to me. good luck.

  3. I had it with this pregnancy and it was right around the time my period would start. I did not have any pregnancy symptoms prior it was more PMS . I only had spotting for 3 days which started 2 days after my period was to start ( my cycle was always off ) and was 11 days after conception , Day 1 - pink spotting and Days 2/3 - brown discharge and it was gone . There was no need for a pad or tampon.

You could have started your period or very well have Implantation Bleeding which is does not happen in every pregnancy .

Hope this helped :) and good luck

LOL Melissa G - I have seen you post the SAME non sense of Implantation Bleeding - It does not happen up to 14 weeks - where are you getting your information from ! Quit giving misinformation .

  4. that sounds more like implantation bleeding especially if you had s*x a couple of weeks ago. even a light period has some type of bleeding on a pantyliner or pad...BUT it could be the beginning of your period? if it doesnt get heavier take a hpt...good luck

and no you dont have a normal full blown period during pregnancy. any period like bleeding is a concern.
