Because I went with my mom to get a bank account and they told me that I can't set up an account the lady at the desk told me to try a credit report but I she didn't tell me which one I can use because most of them you have to be

  1. I think that you can get one at anualrepot.com. Try that first. Did she give you a reason that they would not give you an account. Most places will. Also if you have been turned down for credit for any reason then you can call the credit repoting agency amd they will give you a copy for free. Best of luck and I hope this helps.

    & type your name & birth date & ss# . Request a report from all 3 of the bureaus.

    Experian

    Trans Union

    Equifax

    If someone used your identity you'll find out here.

    & if you can't, have your Mom do it for you.

    If you can't do it online call any one of them in the "contact us" tab.

  3. You should be able to have an account but your mom or dad would have to be on the account with you. Try another bank.

    Maybe check with Social Security... maybe someone else has been using your # and that's why?
