How do you know if you have a hymen?

How can you tell if you have a hymen? Is there anyway to break it other then s*x? How can you break it b4 s*x so it doesnt hurt? Can a doctor break it for you?

You can look down there with a mirror and compare to pics/diagrams online. Looks like a thin border of skin around the vaginal opening.

It can break in ways other than s*x e.g. sports and stuff but usually needs penetration to break. Yes you can do it yourself with penetration by something but it would have to be big enough. Doctors can do it too. But there's no need to do it before s*x unless you really want to. It might have broken by itself anyway.

You can break it by getting fingered/masturbating.........or by using a tampon...but it's going to hurt either way......it can break naturally too, like with bike riding and stuff but I think the chances of that happening are pretty low...

everyone has a hymen and theres all kinds of ways to break it like tampons falling and hitting something in between your legs or bike riding horse back riding stuff like that and its still going to hurt if its broken or not...that cant be controlled.  so chances are if you wear tampons or were a little tom boy its most likely broken.
