I am constipated and have severe pain on the right side of my stomach. My mother was doing research and she said The pain may be from parasites biting on my colon wall. But How do i know if i have them? Should i do a cleanse? does everyone have them?

  1. I just did a cleanse, I have had the runs for 9 months, and it did stop them but they have come back. Have you seen the humaworm site?? I did parasitex but I am thinking of doing the humaworm one next. If you have been to the dr, like I did, and he has ruled out anything he could help with I think it is well worth trying a parasite flush, with a colon flush at the same time. All the info you need is on the humaworm site. I dont think parasites cause pain though through biting, as they try to go undetected. Good luck x

  2. Do you live in an area where having hookworms or endemic parasites are common? And have you noticed any blood in your stools? Do you get any itching in your a**s? They might offer some clue.

Pain on the right side of your stomach(I assume that it is the right side of your abdomen) might be due to the constipation. It is not usual for normal hookworms to cause pain.

If you really think you have parasitic infection, mebendazole can be taken.
