You have high cheekbones if you have a defined cheek hallow.  If your cheeks are rounded then you don't.

Suck you cheeks in and look into the mirrior and look how much the bones underneath your eyes stick out.

Also, if you just look into the mirror normally, is there a re line between bone and jaw? Are the cheeks fallen in?

People with high cheek bones tend to have more Oval or sqare faces than round. However, with make up you can sculpt and create an illusion of high cheekbones
