  1. Your friendly A&E doctor will tell you later. :)

  2. well i would go and see your doctor but tearing a ligament can be really painful...you shouldn't be able to walk easily and certainly not run! if your knee is turning purple then there is probably a bruise and bruising on a joint can be very painful and probably very serious. so go and see your GP whenever you can.

  3. I have torn a ligament & I couldn't walk on that leg at all.  If your knee is turning purple, whether you have torn a ligament or not, you need to see a doctor.

  4. eh if it hurst!

    go to doctor!

  5. I tore a ligament in my knee when I crashed into somebody while I was skiing. I couldn't walk, and no matter what position the knee was in it hurt so bad. It was also very loose and unstable. I had to keep the knee imobilized and used crutches for like a week. Feel better soon!

    =)

good luck, knee injuries can be extremly painful, and can take a long time to heal.

  6. Follow this link and it will give you all the info you need. i have a type 3 injury and i'm awaiting surgery.

P.S the rest of them are talking b0ll0cks, they obviously dont know what they are talking about and how long it takes to get the right diagnosis.

  7. Clearly something is damaged and if you try to move - and it hurts - it's definitely something to do with the bones or muscles surrounding the bones. Get it checked, it's easy to treat.
