  1. If they want funds to secure the claim it's a SCAM....

  2. Well, first of all, you should not be asked for money in exchange for your winnings. This is a scam. If there were fees involved, wouldn't they just deduct that from your winnings?

Look at the e-mail address of the sender. Is it a free, Web-based account like Yahoo! Mail or GMail? When did the real UK Lottery switch to this type of e-mail account?

Also: you can contact the real UK Lottery to verify that you've won. Don't just call the number in the e-mail, though, as that is the scammer's number. Look up the real Lottery headquarters number using Google, or maybe the telephone book.

The best thing to do is to simply delete the e-mail and forget about it. The scammer might not even be in the UK. He could be anywhere in the world. So if you report the e-mail account to the provider, and they close the box, you could mess up somebody's investigation.

  3. You can look at your tickets on line

  4. You look them up like the rest of us!!!!!!!!!

  5. Yeah...that was probably a spam email.
