How do you know if you qualify as an actress???

An actress is any female who embraces whatever part she is given and becomes that character. Each new show you do is a new personality, and by fully throwing yourself into that character at each and every rehearsal and show, you truly become an actress.

Being an actress isn't quite the same as most other professions- there isn't a test you take or a criteria you have to meet.

Being an actress is just something you become. And you have to "qualify" on a show-to-show basis depending on type, ability, etc.

And unfortunately you rarely know whether or not you're right for a certain part so you just have to go out there and audition, do the best you can and leave it up to the casting director.  If you don't "qualify" for that one part, then don't worry... you'll probably "qualify" or "be right" for the next part.  :)
