  1. Why would he need it hooked to his computer?

  2. if he has done it right, there is no way for the user to know.

it is very common for office phones to be recorded for "quality control and training" these days, so it is a good idea to make personal calls on your cell phone.

  3. There's no way to tell for certain.  There would be no clicking, breathing, etc, noises.  Short of examining his computer, just limit your calls to work related, with maybe a few short personal calls it they're necessary.  Certainly don't hold long, gossipy phone conversations with friends or relatives.

  4. I dont know how you would hook a computer up to a phone in order to listen to phone calls. Doesn't make sense.

PS While you are at work, you dont have much in the expectation of privacy, either online or on the phone

  5. um i know it's possible because i'm pretty sure they do it at my mom's work and second off obviously it's possible that's how police stations and the military can listen into your calls. i would suggest cutting down on the personal phone calls at work and one way to tell is listen for certain things like breathing, echoing, clicking, that sort of a thing. if your boss had an issue with your phone call making he would tell you
