  1. just ask ur teacher about it ask her if she thinks youre ready for pointe yet she could not be holding you back.. she could just think youre not ready yet and your ankles arent strong enough

  2. okay well there mite b a reason holding u back.

    A few suggestions r:

    1. Tlk to her, ask her if she thinks ur rede for pointe.

    2. Do everything perfect and show her ur way better than the other dancers, make her realize it!

Also, she may b waiting for the school year session to start! And also how old r u???

If ur  12, 13 or younger, she probably doing it for ur own good. U can VERY VERy easily injure urself in pointe!  And if ur older mayb she thinks ur not strong enough. BUT def tlk to her ab it. Show her ur dedicated, cuz it takes a lot of work in pointe. It very challenging, painful and rewarding!

    Good luck! = )

  3. just tell your teacher that you're ready for pointe and see what she says. if she's a good teacher, she'll explain what you need to work on or why you havent moved up or whatever. thats the only way you'll find out if she's really holding you back or not.
