  1. Some raquets are heavier than others, but some people like to play with them that way. If you really believe the weight of your racquet is affecting your play, go to your local tennis shop and see if there are any racquets that are a bit lighter you might feel more comfortable with. If it's really bothering you, switch to a different model.

  2. if you cant lift it

  3. Here's what I do.

    Too Heavy:

-If you have a hard time catching fast volleys because your racquet has momentum  when you reach for the ball.

-When you are hitting groundstrokes, your racquet feels like a sledgehammer (Super power, but mostly from racquet momentum (like a sledgehammer)).

    Too Light:

-Pick up a stick on the ground. Swing it. If your racquet feels like that it is too light.

    Just Right:

-Your racquet feels kind of like swinging a sword.

-In between the two sections above.

  4. if its giving tension in your elbow then its to heavy for you. thats how i know my racquet is 2 heavy.
