How do you know that "person" is your soul mate?

You know...not just think you know, or have a feeling you know...You know. There is a feeling of completeness...

The old legend goes, that once souls were cut in half, with one half used for women, and the other for men...Then, in the random workings of the universe, those who were two halves of a whole came together...and that is the soul mate...

Hi again.

  I pretty much have to agree with answer # 1.

  The term Soul mate is SOOOO over used, and hard to define in a real sense.

  You could prolly assume that a SM has similar likes and dislikes, similar or like passions, might both get to know the other to finish a sentence, might be able to debate without baseball bats, might think about there are no winners or losers in life, or a contest between the two, might accept and tolerate, MAYBE just want a Friend who doesn't criticize, or patronize falsely, and on and on.

when you share a connection that just can't seem to be there when you meet any other person, but when you meet a soul mate...its just there. you can just feel it.

to clear, soul mates are not always love interest/lovers. they are anyone from your past lives. you may have a wonderful or a bad encounter/connection with one. so you kind of just know if they are or not. its more of a spiritual connection. usually, when you meet your soul mate, you are drawn together. you just have to decide whether or not you want to be around your soul mate once you find yours.

I don't believe in soulmates.  I believe you are more compatible with certain people, but I don't believe that there is only one person for you, and you are the only one for them.
