  1. do you mean y=2x+3?

    ok, cool.

    you know this because the slope (2) is positive.  if it was a negative slope (y= -2x+3) then it could be represented in that graph with the right y intercept.

    if that doesnt make sense go to hotmath.com and search for graphs and eqations for graphs.

    oh, and the equation y=2x+3 would be going from the left bottom corner to the right top corner roughly.

    and, as explained above, the equation y=-2x+3 would go from the left bottom corner to the top right corner. :D
