All of a sudden has to work late or do things that make him out of the house more than usual.  Showers right when they get home.  Seems to be in space or la la land daydreaming.  Sometimes, even happier than usual or extra nice to you.  And, in a lot of cases people are becoming better at cheating so none of the signs could even be there and yet there is still cheating going on.

Most of these answers are all signs, but I also wanted to add that sometimes they will get EXTREMELY defensive!  They may start accusing YOU of cheating.  If you have always been faithful and never done anything to make your significant other doubt you and all of a sudden he/she starts accusing you of cheating--watch out!  Look for other signs listed on here and then you might wanna start checking up on him/her.

My ex acted strangely about his cell phone, was gone on errands all the time, was spending $$$ left and right, and was very distant with me.  But I never confronted him until I had proof...you should never accuse someone of it without knowing!  You have to be very careful about that or it will destroy the relationship!

This is a tricky thing and all depends if its He or She cheating, as both sexes go about it in different ways.

1.  Sudden late night meetings

2.  Going through money like crazy (many bank withdrawls)

3.  Interest in wearing cologne and buying new clothes

4.  Constant text messaging on his phone, at night and on wknds

5.  On the computer often

there are several signs. hope some of the ones i've listed will be helpful.

1. suddenly the cheating spouse is working way more than before

2. there's the smell of perfume or lipstick on his/her clothes and it's not yours

3. the other woman might forget and leave lipstick, cigarette lighter, etc. in the family

4. there are unexplained phone calls to your home, when you answer the phone,  the other person  hangs up

5. there are the phone calls where your husband/wife is almost whispering and you can hear someone in the background...why are they whispering and who was talking in the background

6. letters, cards, notes from the other person

and these are only a few of the signs. if you think your spouse is cheating and can hire a private investigator do it. it's money well spent. if you can't afford an investigator, get your spouse drunk and start ask questions. drunks have a habit of becoming to relaxed and saying to much.
