  1. My conscience.

  2. Good question! In general, 'good' is something you do that doesn't hurt others (including yourself), nature or the environment or that doesn't affect them in a negative way. 'Bad' would be the opposite.

However, many people consider 'good' and 'bad' as something relative, including my previous personal -and incomplete- definition. In our current civilization, to know what's good or bad, you must take the following into consideration:

    1. Laws (Required)

    2. Religion (Optional for some people, though a necessary requirement for others)

    3. Culture (Somewhat relative)

    4. Common sense (Somewhat relative)

  3. Education + Experience

  4. everyone has a moral compass which tells them stealing is bad charity is good its built in to everyone cuz thats how god made us some ppl lost their direction but its in everyone

  5. The lord jesus christs whispers in my ear everytime i decide to do something

  6. If you know what you are doing is right, is positive or desirable in nature and you are doing it with the right intention, it typically is something good.

If what you are doing has the intent to hurt somebody physically or emotionally, is dishonest or negative in nature and typically makes you think twice about it, it's probably bad.

For myself, basically if it's something that I can live with on my concious - then I probably think it's a good thing.  If it's something that will bother my concious, then I usually think it's a bad thing.  And I usually try to put it in this context:  Is this the way I would want someone else to treat me?
