How do you know what edition yu-gi-oh! cards are?

you can tell the edition by looking below the bottom left corner of the card picture. it could be limited edition 1st edition or it could be blank. if it is blank, it means it is unlimited edition. the editions are different by if the picture is different or the card text says something different.

under the picture it can say it is first edition, limited edition and sometimes unlimited edition. if it says nothing, its just a normal 2nd or later print of the card

A Yu-Gi-Oh card is 1st edition when it possesses two things:

1. The words "First Edition" on the left side below the artwork.

2. A golden hologram on the bottom right corner of the card.

If it doesn't have either of these things, it's an unlimited (2nd) edition card.
