  1. ride them see if they respond to you. My horse i loved her see was the one right from the start. she is naughty!!! I am the only one that she will be good for people tell me i make her look amazing i have won champion in shows so we are great together. we love each other so much. liek i said ride the horse pick up on this,

    do they listen you you?

do they try and get away with bad things?

do they put there head for you to pet?

do they perk up when you walk up to them?

these are only a few things but there is also things like

what size horse do you want?

    what temperment do you want?

is there a color you want?

is there a breed you want?

what training do they have if ne?

if they have training were they trained for trail, gaming, western, english, hunting, jumping?

take in all these things before you buy a horse but be sure you and horse work well together!! GOOD LUCK

  2. Its a feeling you have when you go ride them.  Do you feel safe.  Can you picture your self on another horse?  When you go to a barn, or you instantly pulled toward them, or towarsa another horse.

  3. You need to ride it and see how it feels. Can you see yourself riding this horse every day? Is the horse reasonable for you to control? Is the horse's training level compatible with your riding experience? Is the horse suited for the kind of riding you want to do? If you are very tall you probably don't want a small horse and if you are short you might want to choose a smaller horse. Always have a vet do a pre-purchase exam to make sure the horse is healthy and sound.

  4. Personally I interview them and figure out if we are compatible for starters.

Then after a few dates, I know if it is "right".
