  1. The chin rule is a good way to start, but i like more control and i ride freestyle so i have a 154 and i am 6'0.

  2. A good rule of thumb is to stand the snowboard on end and it should be up to your chin. Shorter boards are for more maneuverability and free style. Longer are for intense powder and speed. I prefer shorter so I use the chin rule, but it depends on your style. Some prefer a longer some prefer a shorter.

    Here's a good resource for choosing http://www.snowboard-mountain.com/Articl...

  3. It is based mainly on your weight and the type of riding you like to do, but also your height and level of riding can come into it also. If you email me your weight, height and level of riding ie begineer, intermediate etc. Then i will give you an accurate board length based on your stats. Good luck with the riding.
