How do you know what size of a football helmet!?

my current helmet is a medium size but after wearing it for a while and running in it it starts to hurt the sides of my head!

A little discomfort always comes with the first few times you wear your helmet. If you continue to wear the helmet and the pain continues or becomes worse with no sign of improving then i say talk to your coach and explain to him what's going on or ask for a bigger helmet. Just don't go to big and have it loose and get hit. That can result in injury. Hope i helped! :D

a few things...

ask them to take air out of it.. that mite help...

or get a large

or get a Revo one.. i wore one last season, didnt hurt my head at all...
