How do you know what type of poffins your pokemon likes in Diamond?

I am hoping to get a few more ribbons so I can get into the spa so i decided to get them by entering into competitions. I usually enter my Infernape in with beauty, but how do I know which poffins it likes, or even if it likes beauty?

Spicy = Cool

Sweet = Cute

Sour = Tough

Dry = Beauty

Bitter = Smart

To check what flavour your Pokemon like, check it's second page of summary.

To check what flavour is that berry, check it's tag. eg. cheri berry's tag, a little green horn is pointing at spicy.

On the second page of a pokemon's summary, it lists when and where the pokemon was recieved, and at what level it was when it was recieved. It also lists the pokemon's nature, and what flavor of food it likes. The flavor of food that it likes depends on the nature it has. It you want another pokemon that likes a particular type of food, I suggest breeding it with a ditto until you get one that likes that type of food. Ditto can be found by using the poke radar in the grass on route 218 (east of canalave city). When a pokemon eats a poffin, the amount that it's contest stats go up is based on what kind of food it likes. Some pokemon also "happily eat anything". This means that their contest stats are not lowered or boosted for any flavor. FYI: dry = beauty, spicy = cool, sour = tough, sweet = cute, and bitter = smart.

Choose the right berries because some pokemons like spicy so you must give Cheri Berry.Like that different pokemons like different taste{example:Dry,sweet,bitter,etc...}

You must cook the right berry the right pokemon.

Remember some pokemons like to eat all types of berries.{example:Torrterra,etc...}

I don't really berry is used to increase the beauty of you Infernape because I use for increasing tough and cool.
