How do you know what you wii serial number is?

i want to mail people with my wii but i have to give them my serial number and I don't know what it is. how can i tell what it is?

You dont have to give them the serial number. You need your Wii Console Number.

On the main screen, in the bottom right corner there is a button with a picture of an envelope. Click it, and on the next screen select the "address book" button. Your Console Number will be displayed.

It is actually called the console number.

So here is what you do...

1. Turn on the wii and go to the wii menu.

2. Click the wii message boards button (the one with the mail icon)

3. Click on Create Message (the vutton with the letter and pencil.)

4. Click on your address book on the far right and you will see your console number right there.

It is a 12 digit number that looks like 1234-5678-9000
