I know you can look them up on IPO filings but is there any other way? What kind of questions would I ask the company itself if they are going public besides just asking straight out? Please do not answer if you do not know what i'm talking about or cant answer.

  1. The company won't tell you directly that they are raising funds as this would be inside information. If you go to company presentations or talk to the company you may gather that they require new funds. There would then be an increased level of PR (Brokers presentations, newsflow). This would probably result in a massaging of the price (upwards) just before the fund-raising. Just keep your eyes and ears open!
