How do you know when a dog is pregnant??

You need to take the dog to the vet because if she is pregnant, she needs pre-natal care and you, the owner, need a lot of info on how to look after a pregnant b***h, as well as how to help her whelp, and how to look after a litter of new borns.  There's a ton of work involved in the whole process.

there is no clear visual way to tell if your dog is pregnant

The only reasonable thing to do in my opinion is to go to your vet and take it for tests
