How do you know when your on the leaderboard?

I hope this will help, being as I'm new to this but i believe you go to your profile and at the right where your email address next to that funny picture of us, something that refers to leader board. h**l I'm try to bring pictures over from an email to drop in there, I'm having a not so good of a time , trying to figure  it out. Well hope you find what your looking for.   peace out.

Well, you know how many points you have, right?  On Monday morning, just after midnight, the board is updated.  Write down how many points you have and then go to the leaderboard.  Using the arrow keys at the bottom, move along until you get near where the number of points you currently have might be.  If you get all the way to the end of the listing (which they used to do to #5,000 in rank order, but I haven't checked the far end lately) and the numbers are still not lower than what you have in points, you are not on this week.

Wouldn't it be nice if they sent us an email once a week saying "Congratulations, you are number X on our leaderboard of the top Y users in our list over over Z Answers users."
