How do you know when your pet is about to die?

em.... when they are pooing blood, when they can't breath.

If they start behaving strange i guess. If they dont eat/drink regularly.

um...when they are really sick or not moving i guess....

Depends on the individual animal.  You might notice them sleeping more, not eating, playing, etc.  They'll lose interest in their favorite things.  You might see behavior changes--a sweet animal suddenly becoming nippy, or a more willful animal start cuddling.   Sometimes they'll try running away--wanting to find a spot to curl up and die.  Sometimes they will stick close to their person (pack leader).
