  1. When your pants become wet or you have a flow of what seems like pee, that you cannot stop.

It doesnt gush out like in the movies.

  2. First of all, keep in mind that the majority of women do not experience their water breaking before labor begins. Usually they are well into contractions and often times the doctor even has to break it for them.

If it does break on it's own though, it can come as a leak OR it can come as a sudden gush. Some women report hearing a "pop" sound.

When my water broke, it was my due date and I had not been having any contractions (not even Braxton-Hicks), and the day before I had not been dilated or effaced at all. I was resting in bed, got up to answer the phone, and BAM. A significant gush flooded my pants. After that, every time I stood up from a sitting position I had another gush. It also continued to leak, for at least the next few hours! It was VERY obvious.

  3. Trust me you will know. It will feel as though you pee'd on yourself as if will be very warm down there....

  4. trust me u will feel it warm water sensation somthing udont usually feel u will  know when the time comes

  5. its suppose to be like a gush and then leaking

  6. I was actually at the hospital when my broke, id just got off the bed and felt a little pop and then i wouldnt say a gush but it didnt trickle either and it was warm.

I told the midwife my waters had broke, and she said they hadnt get back on the bed!! i told her i knew i hadnt wet myself lol

When it happens you will know.

Some peoples waters break before labour, some break while in labour and others, they have to have them broken.

  7. u will feel a warm liquid. sometimes water breaks at a slow rate so u may think ur just having a light discharge. other times ull know when it breaks cuz ull be soaked and it really doesnt stop coming out til deep labour. so if ur experiencing any type of warm liquid, no matter the amount go to the hospital. my water was slowing leaking for 3 days and i didnt go in til it got worse cuz i didnt know and thank god i went when i did. when ur water slowly leaks, the baby's sac dries up and could put the baby in alot of danger.

  8. it feels like u just peed ur pants.it'll b warm, then it depends on if u r havin contractions or not to go in.

  9. I knew mine broke because it wouldn't stop trickling.  I thought I was peeing uncontrollably at first, but after a while, I knew it was my water.

  10. It's a constant trickle of fluid, or even a gush, whenever you get up and move around.  It never lets up because it's continually replaced.

  11. From what I hear, most people say it's like have your bladder leak.  It can come all at once, or just trickle.  My water never broke on it's own, so yours may not either.
