  1. The best size of bat for you all depends on your height...and if you are still growing, then what is comfortable for you now may be too small in a years time, so you may need to consider that.

The best bet is to buy your bat from a proper sports shop that will allow you to try out different sizes and offer knowleable advice.

  2. For most accuracy, you should visit a sporting goods store and ask one of the workers there.

  3. If you can lift the bat from Ur left hand, it will be a good bat 4 U.

  4. 3 ft 2 inc

  6. i've worked in a cricket shop before and have played for 10 years!

The top of the handle of the bat should come up to the between your thigh and groin. If u are looking for an adult bat - always go short handle unless u are really tall and need a bigger bat as it gives u better timing.

Also u need to take into account the weight of the bat when buying. If u take your normal stance and guard and grip, here are the steps to test if the weight is ideal.

    1. Play a straight booming drive and hold the position after a big follow through

    2. Remove your bottom hand from the bat.

    3. If the bat is too heavy it will be awkward to hold in this position for about 5 seconds.

Always go with a bat you are very comfortable holding as if the bat is too heavy your timing will be out as you wont move it as quickly. The good timing of a slightly lighter bat is far better than a slightly bigger middle.

    Hope this helps
