  1. Since ancient times, in medicine (as recorded by the Roman  Celsus in "De medicina"- about medicine-, c. A.D. 25 ) it is said that inflammation symptoms, usually caused by  bacterial infection,  are one or more of the following (in Latin)

    Calor = Higher temperature of the area (fever, if the infection spreads)

    Dolor = Pain

    Rubor = redness of the skin surrounding the infected part

    Tumor= Swallowing in the infected area

    some add Fluor = secretion to identify bacterial infection

    If you have these symptoms , probably your ear ring piercing is at least inflamed  and must be at least disinfected (with a disinfecting cream or  a liquid), kept cool and you may add some anti inflammatory like ibuprofen based pills . Meanwhile if it doesn't get better soon, or the swelling increases or you get any fever, it is possible there is an infection and you should see a doctor. They 'll probably treat it with antibiotics

    You should always make this kind of holes in a place where they use sterilized tools (and temporary ear ring), and clean your ear immediately before piercing with a disinfectant.

  2. yeah like they said, if it's red, warm, and hurts to touch. I would say not to use regular cream like neosporin or bacitracin because they will both try to heal your piercing shut. Instead, use alcohol-based wound cleaners (or Ear Care type liquid).

  3. If it turns red, feels warmer to the touch and hurts a lot.

  4. its really red, and it hurts.

    you can get cream for it ..

    but you can also let it close and get it repierced.

  5. Redness, pain, swelling, discharge (pus).  I recommend bactine for infected piercings

  6. if it turnes black or blue

    and it hurts so much u cant touch it

  7. If it hurts O_0
