  1. When you start throwing up blood

  2. Get a blood test from your doctor. Also if you are dying from liver failure in the final stages your skin turns yellow. It's called jaundice.

  3. take a look at his stomach. Is it big and hard? That alone is a sign of liver damage. What's the color of his pee? Very yellow means he is dehydrated but watch out for tea- colored urine. Now that's bad. If he's really drinking alot and for a long time, his liver is definitely damaged. the only problem is how long will it last? That, nobody can answer.

  4. feeling some pain in the liver (place your right hand over the lower right hand side of your ribs

    and it will cover the area of your liver)

    having a general feeling of poor health and fatigue

    loss of appetite

    a sick, nauseous feeling, especially in the mornings and often accompanied by diarrhoea.

    yellow eyes or, in more severe cases, yellow skin (jaundice)

    vomiting blood (haematemesis)

    dark black, tarry, stools (melena)

    significant weight loss

    periods of confusion or poor memory (hepatic encephalopathy)

    tender, firm, or possibly enlarged liver (hepatomegaly)

    red and mottled palms (palpar erythema)

    partly white fingernails (clubbing)

    enlargement of the male b*****s, which may be tender (gynaecomastia)

    swollen abdomen (ascites)

    thinning hair (alopecia)

    weakness and wasting of the muscles (atrophy)

    drink-related problems affecting your family relationships

    drink-related problems affecting your work or career

    drink-related financial problems

    drinking that leads to trouble with authorities and/or the police.

    There the symptops that i retreived from a website.

    Best of luck,

  5. yellow spots on the skin or just a yellow complexion altogether are a sign of bad liver functions

  6. when u cant drink no more..

  7. Yellow skin, age spots, and acne, etc. are all signs of toxins in the body.  With liver damage also comes high blood pressure.  Those are the signs that I know of.

    If his liver fails, he could die in a few days, so if nothing else, just make sure he drinks glasses of water in between drinks so that his liver won't have to work quite as hard to rid itself of the alcoholic toxins.  Water is a great cleanser.

    Also, if he takes herbs such as dandelion root and milk thistle, they'll clean out his liver well.  Liquid forms are best, but he can also take them via tea or capsules.  Good luck!

  8. Get him to take milk thistle herbal tablets daily.

    check it out online.

    It will improve his health. I've witnessed this happen to someone I know in the family.

  9. From this site:

    http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders...

    "People who have cirrhosis sometimes do not have symptoms until liver damage is extensive. Symptoms of cirrhosis and its complications may include:

        * Fluid buildup in the legs (edema) and the abdomen (ascites).

        * Fatigue.

        * Yellowing of the skin (jaundice).

        * Itching (pruritus).

        * Profuse nosebleeds (epistaxis).

        * Redness of the palms.

        * Small red spots and tiny lines on the skin called spider angiomas.

        * Bleeding from enlarged veins (varices) in the digestive tract.

        * Bruising easily.

        * Weight loss and muscle wasting.

        * Belly pain or discomfort.

        * Frequent infections.

        * Confusion."

    And yes, the urine can take on a deep yellow to orangish hue. Unfortunately, I do not know of any signs that would be visible in f***s, unless they were very dark in color, which could indicate internal bleeding.

    Good question, and good luck with your father.

  10. well friend my dad died from drinking and let me tell you its a bad way to go out..the kidneys stop working,that causes the swelling of the legs and hands then the liver goes out that causes the skin to get dark and yellow looking than the face starts to fall like if you lost weight too fast and the skin hangs..then thats when you start spiting blood,thats when you know death is near ..then a state of confusion comes as you go into a coma and die...
