  1. She will eat a lot!

    Good luck!

    I love hamsters!!!

  2. pick it up and feel its belly, you will feel a diffenrence. do that over a few days and if there is babies in there you will notice a difference. be careful too, i had a hamster that got pregnant and i didnt know wnd one day i looked in the cage and it was baby hamster bodies and head everywhere. it had ate its own babies.

  3. well she will get fatter than usual , she will be moody , nipples are normally seen , they store more food then normal , drink more and make nests ready to give birth and you start to see less of her near her due date and when the babies are born you will know as you will hear squeaking noises and suckling noises.

  4. 1. The momma will expand her nest, sometimes to 1/3 her cage size.

    2. She will suddenly eat and hoard almost more then twice the regular amount.

    3. She will drink more water, because water helps produce milk.

    4. She becomes ornery when you try to touch her, or nervous when you stare at her.

    5. She will very suddenly get very fat.

My hamster recently did have 5 pups, and I was shocked! I hadn't seen her for three days, even though food was depleting. On day 4 I heard tiny little squeaks, and on day 8 I saw the babies under the wheel.

If you suspect she is pregnant, clean her cage.

Remove the father, just in case.

Fill her food to the very top.

Move the cage to a quiet, dark place.

For the next 2 weeks, especially if you know she has birthed, don' touch her or clean the cage. Only, carefully, refill her food and water.

  5. she will start to eat more and get fatter and bigger. and she will sleep more!!

  6. Her nipples will swell and become more visible

She will get chubbier in the abdomen

She will make nests around the cage

And the day before she has her babies, she will be very active and more productive than usual.

If she's pregnant, start researching about it because you'll need to.

  7. Usually you can see the nipples, and several days before birth the hamster will get bigger in her abdomen.

Really, it can be hard to tell.  If she's been around males and it's been within 18 days, she could be pregnant.
