I heard that people as young as 19 can be in charge of the teen groups and events on cruises. Sounds cool. How do you get a job doing that?

  1. I would imagine it would be like landing any other kind of job.

  2. Have to have an "IN"..someone you know works on board....and BE REALLY LUCKY!!!

    Gotta try.....good luck

  3. To apply for a job on the cruise line, you go to the site and at the bottom it will say careers. You click there and submit and application. The expected pay varies cruise line to cruise line and position to position. Obviously a person who is multi-lingual is preferred and if you interact with guests you are going to get paid more than the steward or wait staff who get paid primarily on tips.

They are going to require lots of years experience with children.  Yes a 19 yo is an adult and therefore could apply for the job--however you would need at least 5 yrs experience working with youth.  Be prepared to have an extensive resume that you have to provide.  Names, addresses, phone numbers.
