How do you land a shuvit on a skateboard?

Hey,

Whenever i do a shuvit, i can land it, but if i do, the skateboard just rolls away from under me, making me fall off the back.

does any1 have any tips that could help me land it properly?

i can ollie and land fine, just cant land pop shuvit properly

  1. So the things I keep in mind when I shuvit is where my board lands. It always lands 2 O'clock from my position, so I always jump there. And You need to also watch the board and make sure you throw down your feet at the correct time, and landing bolts can be a little bad, because if you don't land perfectly straight, you get thrown off balance. So try and get your back foot on the tail, or just practice getting a perfect shuvit. And for your landing problem, you're either leaning back too much, landing in a bad foot position, or you're just not committing enough. So try and find where your board lands, land with back foot on the tail, and lean forward or right in center (although in the beginning I would lean forward, then you can perfect it as you keep trying).

  2. do you know if it always shoots off towards the right more? the board is probably not rotating 180 degrees, also you should keep your knees bent
