  1. Honestly, with the new surge of MMA gyms, pure greco-roman/freestyle wrestling has taken the back seat given that it has been assimilated into mma.  Your best bet is to mess around with your buddies which is what I do.  Some school wrestling programs might be tolerant enough to let you train with them if you approach them the right way.  Good luck

  2. most wrestlers are estatic when someone whats to learn about their sport partly because we feel it is extremely misunderstood, but also because most are very passionate about it(wrestling has a tendancy to weed out those who don't love it very quickly). If you find just about any wrestler(or in many cases a former wrestler, there are a lot more of them than you think) they will be willing to try to teach you some things, however most won't be very good at teaching. If you can find a coach or have a wrestler introduce you to one, they will probably be willing to help you.

I have to warn you though, there is a reason there aren't many clubs for adult wrestlers, and wrestlers over 25 are usually considered old, its a sport for young people, after a point in the mid/early twenties most peoples bodies are no longer able to handle serious consisent wrestling. I don't mean to scare you away as I think everyone should try wrestling at somepoint, but start out slow, and don't expect your body to keep up with it if you try to go at like the high school and college people do, 1) they're incredibly highly conditioned, and well trained most of them for at least 3 years by the time they get to high school some their whole lives, even the ones that look fat are in incredible shape

    2) they are much stronger than they look, I know this is true of me and of every wrestler I have ever met, whose wrestled for any significant period of time

    3) theyre probably younger than you(not sure how old you are)  and can take more punishment

    4) their bodies are conditioned to take that punishment, yours isnt

    5) they're all slightly, in the words of Rocky 'mentally irregular', honestly I've never met a wrestler who didn't have a s***w or two loose, it may not be evident immediately but once you get to know them... yea.. they're all a bit crazy

So good luck, try to find a coach and they will probably be happy to help, and take it easy to start out, your conditioning will develop eventually but if you rush it, you WILL get hurt, so take your time
