How do you learn to dance?

I mean other than just going out there and doing your thing, how do people learn these random dances I keep seeing? Is there some website full of these pop dances I'm not aware of?! lol

most of these randome dances that you are seeing are made up by the people who are dancing them.  If  you want to be similar you have to think of your own moves and get out there and try them out. It is easier if you have a backround in dance but you dont have too. Whatever you do do not steal other peoples moves!

lol I know exactly what you mean!!! I was actually wondering the exact same thing... I guess they watch more music videos on YouTube and MTV and go to parties more often than we do, so they naturally end up picking up the moves these songs. "Moving your body to the beat of the music" sometimes isn't enough. I have rhythm and can "do my thing" but like you, I find it hard to keep up with every new song like Cupid Shuffle and Crank That.  

Anyways, good luck! You can either go with the flow or try to stay as current as you can with the instructional videos...

Youtube. They show a lot of instructional videos.  Start off by just searching for one familiar one (cupid shuffle) and a lot of other videos concerning different dance moves will be linked.
