  1. practice a lot a day

  2. guitar hero 3

  3. Speed on the guitar takes practice and patience. Just look over the internet for exercises to do, that can improve your speed.

  4. practice being ACCURATE first.

Speed is a product of accuracy.

  5. guitar hero 2

  6. Just practise.....

Rome wasn't built in a day....

    You'll get there!

  7. Combination of practice and talent. More so practice. :) It's not really what anyone wants to hear because I hate practicing things too; I just want to be able to do it!! But it's the truth. Professional guitarist practice all day. They don't have to worry about going to school or going to a regular job; they just practice. And party! Keep it up and one day you'll be able to run circles around any of them. Best of luck!

  8. I find a good way is by using a metronome.  Find a guitar part you like playing, especially one that requires a lot of finger movements and fret changes.

Start off with a slow beat on the metronome and as you master that speed, move it up a notch until you get it to the fast speed you desire.

Remember, it's all about training the muscles of your hand/arm to move at a faster rate.

Also, and you're probably sick of hearing this, practice is the best way to get better... it aint gonna happen over night.

Some guitarists do use a lot of hammer on/off rapid techniques (which is easier on electric than acoustic) but they do pic mucho fast too!
