How do you like living in Greece vs. USA?

Hi, has anyone here moved to Greece fromthe US and how do you like it??

I moved from the UK - depends what you want from life! I never wanted to be rich or have a great career - I prefer to go out have fun - eat drink and be merry ... so Greek life suits me!

Personally I wouldn't want to live on an island .... too closed in! Athens is great fun but not ideal to bring up a family. I am lucky to live in a pretty part of Greece on the mainland - Epirus.

I was born and raised in a small Village in Greece... and let me tell you, Its a better lifestyle there in Greece, people more relaxed. But Stay here your Career life, you will barley make a living there... then if you want to spend your last few years in retirement I recommend going there.

i made one vacation ""  never again "" the food and people are very  nice "" BUT "" the daily and nightly noise  it is unbearable it is impossible to sleep

if you like hedonism, the beach and getting drunk, you'll like greece.  its such a big difference for me being on one month holiday here and i'm from australia. i'm half greek as well.  i feel like i'm in a real foreign country like China as i can't speak the language.  some people come here and totally love it, i'm not one of those people.  its impossible to post a suitcase from the post office. they tell you to go to the news agent and get it wrapped up and the news agent says they can't do that.  crazy country.

I am from california but i am greek and it is quite different than the city (l.a.)  it is quiet but at times very loud, peaceful but noisy  =)=p=D

it is beautiful you may not make a living like be rich and stuff but if you are a fun-loving free-willed person greece is for you!

it so beautiful and so many things to do and so many places to go

you would love it for vacation but if you plan on living ther you may not make miuch money but the fact that you are there is enuf for me! =)=p

it is amazing and so is the food and ppl and history and culture and scenery

i lived in greece for about 2+months and it was so fun we never ran out of things to do

I agree Greece is unbearably noisy!

And the women have mustaches.

And the men like dancing with each other. Very strange.

I prefer Los Angeles ... Mexican town.
