Alone, out there in the darkness and nearest to the sky,

I reach up on High to my Adonai.

Up on High, it is He Who saves me from the perils of

Wickedness in time,

Take me, my Adonai, imprison my heart from an

Incomplete love, my only crime.

Oh, let these words be a testimony for all the world to

Believe in Our romantic story,

For it involves a prince reaching up on High so that

His Adonai may receive all Glory.

Therefore, together out there in the light and nearest

To the earth,

I reach up on High, to my Adonai, for all that it is worth.
